Back and ready for more! We shall prove ourselves in glooooorious combat! SILENTGAMING is back in the Overwatch scene with a complete new lineup! On the 5th April we announced our new team SILENT.OW!

We're happy to present to you our new lineup consisting of the following players:

Thomas “SirTH” Henzler Captain/Flex

Tino “Tno” Knobel, Tank

Daniel “clicK” Frei, Support

Matteo “Sk0rpi0n” Palermo, DPS

Joshu “Keleborn” Ricke, Support

Lukas “Abaddon” Tscharner, DPS

Our new team’s first game was for the No Mercy League qualifier #2 on Sunday, 8th April 2017. Where our boys showed a solid performance and ended up on the third place.

Sadly clicK left the team very soon, after he had some health issues and out of personal reasons. We wish him all the best for the future and thank him for his time in our team! At the moment SILENT.OW is playing with a tryout, that seems to be very promising.

The next big tournaments were the qualifiers for the Swiss Gaming Challenge, which will be held at Fantasy Basel. Our boys practiced and prepared a lot for the upcoming games and showed an outstanding performance which brought them into the semi-finals, which they lost in a very intense fight against Lausanne eSports and ended up on the third place. We’re still very proud of our young team, which just found each other to train hard to achieve the most possible.

Also worth mentioning is that Abaddon and Sk0rpi0n have been selected as two of the best Swiss Overwatch players to be a candidates for the Overwatch World Cup national committee. Blizzard contacted them directly to ask if they want to participate. As part of the national committee they would be able to represent the Swiss Community and help forming the national team. But since Switzerland didn’t qualify for the Overwatch World Cup, the voting for the Swiss national committee never went online.

Still we want to point out that SILENT.OW has some of the best Swiss Overwatch players and we’re incredibly proud to have them as our #SILENTFamily members.

We’re super excited for all the upcoming matches of SILENT.OW and wish our boys good luck!

We’re happy to have you with us!
