Interview with Marc "Elesde" RaisFirst of congratulations to our PUBG team the Winners of SESL’s Winter Season in PUBG, we are proud to have you as a part of the #SILENTFamily. I’m sure a lot of practice and sweat went into this champion title and We’d love to let our community know how that journey went for you.
So how does it feel to win the Ultimate Chicken Dinner in Switzerland?
We feel quite excited to finally be able to win the Swiss Esports League after our third participation in the event.
What was your reaction?
After a very tight final, we were very relieved that our lead on points was still enough. The other teams played very well and made it very difficult for us until the last game. We were very happy that we could win, even though we didn’t bring out our A game on the last matchday.
How did you guys celebrate?
We’ve met up at the eParadise bar in Zurich last weekend and watched some PUBG Europe League together as a squad.
Are you satisfied with your performance ? If not, what do you think you could improve for the next season / What would you have done differently?
Overall, we are satisfied with our performance, our positioning was on point, rotations were quick and smart, and we even got to do some fragging. Since the kills became much more important with the official PUBG Esport Ruleset, I think we could try to play more aggressively, as we mostly focus on positioning and rotations and try to keep our squad up until the endgame. There are many different tactics out there and we like to experiment a bit in finding new strategies.
You performed especially well on the 6th matchday winning all played games, what do you think was the reason for that, what made you guys win that matchday with such superiority?
Day 6 mostly went so well because everyone was very focused and played their best. Our rotations were very quick, our aim was on point and our communication was especially well on this day. Even though we had 2 games where we lost members of the squad very early, we were able to stand our ground and dominate the endgame. We played especially well as a team on this day. Of course a bit of luck was also involved, it is still PUBG we’re talking about.
Are you planning to play in the next season again? If yes, what are your goals for the coming season?
If there is another season, we will surely participate and try to defend the title. Our goal is of course to win.
Thank you very much for answering these questions and letting our community and fans be part of your journey and success in the Swiss PUBG landscape.
We are proud to have have you guys on board and wish you many Chicken Dinners to come. #SILENTHype
"Hard work payed out for our team. They improved their skill, tactics and everything what it needs to win a season. I'm again very proud of their performance." - Simon "dothem" Lehmann
"After the addition of had3s to our PUBG roster, I knew they will for sure reach a top placement in the current Swiss Esports League season. Furthermore, I’ve seen their potential many times on stream or at offline competitions (for example Switzerlan). Now, after winning the current season, I am very proud of the whole team. It’s amazing to see how they have evolved since the last season. This performance shows that hard work really can pay off.
I hope they can keep the motivation and pace up in future competitions. Well done!" - Pascal "soodie" Burri
