SILENT.CS: IeSF Qualifier #1

Last Sunday the IeSF Qualifier #1 took place and our CS:GO team fought for a spot in the offline finals, which will decide who's going to play at the IeSF World Championship in Busan (Korea).

˝We’re already practicing again and preparing for the next qualifier. Let’s do better this time!˝

Remo "rmo" Blaser

First round SILENT.CS got a free ticket, so basically the first game started in the second round, where our team faced E-LVETS CREAM. In the second overtime our boys took over the game and victory.

Next our team went already into the semi-finals against noetic. After a first struggle on de_mirage, where a strong noetic won with 16-4, our boys came back on the second map with 16-13, which was de_nuke. The last match out of the bo3 couldn't have been closer when it went into overtime, but in the end noetic took the win.

Statement Remo "rmo" Blaser

Even though we’ve played as a mix, we were able to put on some good fights. Unfortunately noetic was too strong for us. Too many errors and fault plays led to a close scoreline and a overtime on the third map. During overtime we’ve lost some focus and didn’t manage to clinch the match. I’m however happy we’ve managed to come back after a crushing defeat on de_mirage. Thanks to Simu_ for standing in and showing a very good performance!
We’re already practicing again and preparing for the next qualifier. Let’s do better this time! #SILENTHype
