SwitzerLAN 2018 recap

A long weekend of glimming screens and loud cheering ended with aspiring results! The biggest LAN in the DACH region had of course good competition prepared for the teams, so there would be exciting tournaments for everyone.

SILENT.CSGO

The start will do our bomb defusers. They were on a good streak, and everything was right for our Team, till they had to fight through to the bracket. There was a good competition, sadly they fall and end up at the top 6.

SILENT.RL

The three dribblers roll into the tourney with a oiled engine. With a substitute player to jump in, they style through the groups. Playing till later in the night. Maybe the sleep was not there on the next day. They had to give the win to a strong ArcticGaming. Still great a performance to reach the top 8.

SILENT.OW

Our heros with glowing weaponry could not be stopped this year in the Swiss Esport League and neither in the offline tournament. They whipped the groups and brackets to the final. They faced Lausanne Esport that only took one map. So they take the win and the undefeated year with them!

SILENT.PUBG

Our squad achieved their goal for this event. Trying to grab the pan at every moment. With nearly perfect scores in the group phase with 3 wins out of 4 and it did not end there. The final round was nail biting. Two games they were in in the top 8, meanwhile two other games they achieved the first place. With awesome 2144 points, nearly doubling the second rank, they get their dinner warmly served!

SILENT.R6

Sneaking and peeking through the bracket was our Rainbow Siege team. Even though the tournament was not classified as a main one, they gave everything to it. Getting the attention from everyone. Focused and willing to win the whole thing was there. Finals was not reached, but a good third place can be the start of something bigger!

SILENT.HS

Throwing cards at each other sounds easy on paper. On practice that's a different story, you could hurt someone or playing against good opponents. Our players tried their best, sadly Dark had to leave the tournament early because of a loss against Mentalist. Hofme though lost a tiebreaker and couldn’t continue to the next stage.

We are more than happy with our players great performance on this big offline event. It was not only the drive that got us there. It was the community that we build and love each day. We love to grab some drinks and scream out of our lungs for the players we support.

As always, we appreciate the dedication and passion that everyone brings.
This journey would be absolutely different without our great sponsors, that enabled us to reach the top. Cheers!
